At a glance
- The working address is hello@deafmetrix.com, held by Microsoft 365.
- Experiences are welcome: the share page has a ready-to-edit email.
- Written messages first. BSL arrangements on request. No phone call is needed.
- A subject line helps a message reach the right place quickly.
- Each button opens the email app on this device. Messages are sent from there, not by this site.
Choose a subject
Each link opens the email app on this device with a subject already filled in. The message is checked and sent from that app; this site does not send or store the email draft or its contents. If no app opens, the address hello@deafmetrix.com can be copied into any webmail service.
- Share an experienceOpens an email with short optional prompts. A few lines is enough.
- Ask for BSL arrangementsOpens a short ready-written request. A method is then agreed by email.
- EditorialIdeas or questions about a piece.
- CorrectionSomething published here that looks wrong.
- Website access problemA barrier on this site, or a request for another format.
- Privacy or data rights requestQuestions, or requests to see, correct or delete personal information. Normally answered within one calendar month, subject to applicable legal extensions.
- Data protection complaintA complaint about how personal information was handled. Acknowledged within 30 days and investigated without undue delay.
- PartnershipSponsorship and partnership conversations.
Subscriptions
Email updates are sent by Buttondown. The signup form sends the address directly to Buttondown, which asks for confirmation; this website keeps no subscriber list. Emailing the editor is a personal message, not a subscription. New Truths will appear in the archive as they are published. More detail is on the newsletter help page.
Sharing an experience
Experiences are welcome by email. The share an experience page explains what to include, what to leave out, and how publication is agreed separately. Sending one does not commit anyone to publication, and contributors keep their rights. Contact is not newsletter consent, publication consent or a copyright transfer. The first message should contain only a general outline and contact preference, without medical records, health details, evidence, recordings or names of other people.
British Sign Language
Contact is in writing first. BSL arrangements can be requested with the one-click link above, and a method is then agreed by email. There is no interpreter booking service or set response time. Separately, the site does not currently have BSL content; it is written in English.
Reusing content
Short quotes with credit and a link are welcome. Republishing a piece in full needs written permission. Details are in the terms of use.
Corrections
Errors are corrected visibly, with a dated note. The process is on the complaints and corrections page.
Write to the editor
