The idea
Most writing about Deaf life is written for hearing people, and it tends to arrive in one of two registers: the medical or the inspirational. Neither sounds like a life.
Deaf Truth Unfiltered is the other thing. It can be funny, serious, personal, observational, investigative, visual or reflective. What holds it together is the point of view, not a topic list.
Every piece is numbered as a Deaf Truth. The numbering is the point. The barriers do not stop at a total.
